The client is a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging material at various manufacturing units. The customer was already working on Oracle ERP solution for the manufacturing process.

The Objective

The client wanted the ERP solution to be configured for all its 9 manufacturing units. The initial challenge for HIPL was to match the requirement of 9 manufacturing units. Standard Oracle Enterprise Asset Management was not fully synchronized with the client’s business process. We faced several challenges with Business Process, User Training / Education, Legacy Data and Analytical Data needs

The customer was looking for installation of the Enterprise Asset Management module of the ERP solutions, with standard configuration, to manage their asset. The HIPL team configured the EAM module and performed legacy data interfacing to facilitate the customer.

The Outcome

Legacy Data Conversion is one of the major challenges for any project, which require lots of analysis to match existing data with oracle application table. Since the client did not have any standard legacy application to manage their assets, it was one of the complicated and biggest tasks to prepare correct and proper data with the right elements. This was resolved with training / education to core users. HIPL uploaded following legacy data:
